General Purpose of the Job:
Senior Accountant has an important role in the financial reporting, analysis, and compliance functions within the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor daily cash balances, transactions, and bank account activities.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgetary goals.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor requests.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the company's financial operations adhere to the latest requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members as needed.

Main Key Performance Indicators:
- Maintain and update financial records and prepare the month-end and year-end closing under time requirements;
- Lead in the local finance software and SAP implementation and stay current with accounting regulations and standards;
- Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditors’ requests;
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgetary goals;
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
